Being an active contemporary sculpture artist, Su Chang uses his works to show the vague fragments when human consciousness intertwines against real life. Discussing the boundaries between reality and perception in a simple but powerful way through continuous practice. He bases on ordinary visual elements, combines objects and human natures to digest and produce a new language. Two sides of works are like two sides of perception, with completely different textures and a delicate balance created by each other. The ambiguity and complexity of the edges are deliberately treated as a fragile intrinsic fluctuation. Su Chang uses his works to examine the wavering of people when publicity and personal anxiety counter, as well as the traces left in psychology by such vague behaviour.
