aaajiao participated in the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning (MOCAUP) exhibition "Real Topography: Media Art Exhibition (Shenzhen 2023)", exhibiting works Limited Infinite Landscape, Wave 3, Water Measure - Petroleum and WELT. The "Topology of the Real: Media Art Exhibition (Shenzhen 2023)" is curated by Zhang Ga, a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and is divided into "Reality Interruption", "Art Question: The Return of the Real" and "Multiverse: No Nature". ZKM's "Art in Motion: A Journey of Media Art Masterpieces" is presented in parallel with the "Reality Interruption" section. "Topologies of the Real" examines the trajectory of the concept of the real as it has been challenged and rewritten by the artistic imagination since the mid-20th century, under the apparent acceleration of the technological construction of space and time, and the dilemmas and potential it reveals in the flattened and co-occurring digital contemporary.
